Ensuring timely vaccination and proper healthcare awareness is crucial to protecting children and communities from preventable diseases like Measles and Rubella. Witnessing the importance of immunization and public health guidelines at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital, our Scout team was inspired to take action. As Scouts, we wanted to bridge the gap between medical professionals and the community, promoting EPI vaccination schedules,).
Our Scout patrol visited Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital to engage directly with medical practitioners and healthcare staff. We consulted doctors to understand ongoing public health drives, including the Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign and EPI guidelines. We reviewed official immunization cards, discussed safe vaccination protocols, and gathered essential health education messages
This initiative provided us with deep insights into public health administration, disease prevention, and community health management. Interacting with doctors helped us understand the grassroots impact of national immunization programs. It sharpened our communication and leadership skills, reinforcing the vital role youth play in advocating for healthcare awareness and community well-being.
