We want to begin the implementation of Earth Tribe, as well as promote actions in line with the theme of our National Jmboree
We involved Rovers in a process of idealization, planning and execution of activities linked to the community of Faro (city located in the south of Portugal). For this we had sessions where we explained the methodology they had to employ, invited a partner who created a business on sustainable products who explained how he turned a dream into a project that now sustains his life.
We managed to increase our reach, two of the activities were carried out in places with great impact for the community, one of them in the little farm which provides around 14 tons of vegetables, fruit and other types of food for families in need. Another action that also had a great impact was the cleaning of the estuary area, an area where an endangered species of seahorses lives, this area is one of the largest seahorse sanctuaries in the world.
National activities are excellent vehicles for implementing new projects, great project incubators for connecting young people from different realities and geographical points
