Environment Day

This initiative extended beyond just the Scouts, as their families and guardians also became active participants. The guardians expressed enthusiasm and interest in the activities, showing support for the Scouts’ efforts and offering motivation throughout the day. By involving family members, the event successfully promoted a shared sense of responsibility and underscored the impact of simple actions taken at the household level.

On 3rd November 2024, the Amladahi Scout Troop I and II celebrated Environment Day as part of the Bharat Scouts and Guides' "Scout Guide Week 2024" Action Plan. The event took place at the homes of individual Scouts and Leaders, encouraging a hands-on approach to environmental advocacy and sustainable practices.

The Amladahi Scout Troop's Environment Day celebration taught Scouts and their families about the importance of environmental stewardship and sustainable practices. Through activities like poster-making, cleaning, and tree planting, Scouts learned how small, everyday actions at home can contribute to environmental protection. Involving family members reinforced a sense of shared responsibility, showing that young people, with support, can lead meaningful change in their communities.
