The cub scouts of Pack 102 in Gulf Breeze, Florida, USA will be online to experience JOTI as a means to better understand cultural differences by fulling engaging in dialogue that leads to raising awareness towards, and appreciating diversity around the globe. This project uses JOTI as but one tool of many, as the scouts play games from various countries, learn to speak words essential to communicating in different languages, view sattelite imagery around the world, listen to music from different countries, and interact in a highly diverse enviornment through the various mediums (such as JOTI) offered by scout.org. The aim is that such interaction through these various channels, these young minds will be attuned to and prepared for an increasingly diverse world by learning that what is global is local, as what is local is also global. Ultimately, it is expected that dimplotatic dialogue, beginning with the cub scout, will further the message of creating a better world through peaceful engagement which they will carry with them throughout their development and "spread like wildfire" in their personal and community setting. An empathetic understanding and appreciation of 'differences' is an essential life skill and a tremendous service contribution to our world.
