End the day with a smile

I visited the school several times as 2 of my colleagues did their community service projects at this venue as well. The school wasn’t in it’s best shape after the pandemic. So we asked one of the care takers of the school if we could help the school in some way. Then she showed us one of the dinning halls used by the hostellers. It was not in a proper sanitary condition.
It was held at the school for the deaf Rathmalana. With the help of my colleagues who are also scouts we contacted the school and fixed a date. So finally on that day the 7 of us with the help of a professional managed to finish painting the walls and benches within that day. I also donated a water filter so the students can get clean water for their consumption
I think we managed make the dinning hall a more suitable place for the students of that school to dine at.
I learned how to organise and carry out a project from scratch. This would help me with many things in life in the future
