Empowering Cubs Through Electing Leaders

Empowering Cubs Through Electing Leaders

Coinciding with the birth anniversary of our beloved Fifth King and National Scouts Day, Cubs elected their Troop Leader, Sixer and Second Sixer. The nomination of leaders were done by the teachers based on their abilities and capabilities. But selection of the nominations were purely done by the Cubs themselves. Teachers were the observers that day. Cubs learnt how to elect the right leaders through voting. This promoted their decision making skills and experience the elections done. The part of Democracy lessons were also touched when they had to elect the right leaders in a right way without involving any corruptions. We elected leaders in a fair and just as we all expected.
