Emergency Aid for Aircraft Accident Victims

In the aftermath of the tragic Milestone College aircraft accident, several victims, including students, suffered severe burns and injuries. I volunteered at the National Institute of Burn & Plastic Surgery to support the affected individuals and their families. My role as a Scout volunteer was to provide assistance, emotional support, and basic care during this critical time.
Witnessing the pain and trauma faced by the accident victims deeply moved me. I wanted to stand beside those who were struggling for recovery and show them that they were not alone. This initiative was about spreading humanity and comfort, beyond just material help.
This experience taught me the value of empathy and emotional intelligence during moments of crisis. I learned how teamwork between volunteers, medical staff, and families can create a strong support system. It reinforced the importance of Scouts' service in real-world emergencies.
