Day 1 It is finally the day to challenge myself to a 'never ending' journey. After school, I reached Taman Botani at 3:00p.m. for registration of 80km Expedition 2016. I talked to my patrol mates during my free time. When we are ready to start our challenge of the year, we went into 'Taman Botani' and did the task they told us to. After that, we went to 'Istana Mestika'. We rested there for a while after a long walk and continue our journey to our 3rd checkpoint - 'UiTM Persiaran Masjid'. Lastly, We head to our final destination, which is 'SK Raja Muda'. We arrived at the school on1955 and is the third patrol to reach the destination. After that, we went to pitch our tent and cook our dinner with my beloved patrol mates. We had a short meeting with all the scouters after dinner and are required to show our map, reports and task progression to them for checking purposes. After we finished out things, all participants went out to a park and cleaned the area. After that, I went to sleep. Day 2 After a good rest, we gathered on 0630 to prepare to continue our expedition. After 20 minutes, my patrol and I went to 'Tasik Shah Alam' to do community service by cleaning up the area. With the help of everyone in our patrol, we successfully filled half a bag of rubbish! On the way to 'Muzium Shah Alam', we saw a beautiful scenery. When we arrived at 'Muzium Shah Alam', we threw away the bag of rubbish into the rubbish bin. We sang along the road to 'Istana Keyangan' when suddenly the rain falls down. We rested a while after we arrived 'Istana Keyangan' and began to go to 'Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin'. Ye Yang and I talked about our experience in our scouts life. It is interesting to know how the other troops work their activities out. Then, we went to 'Batu Tiga Komuten Stesen Tren' to do our task. Then, we went to 'Telekomunikasi Digi Sdn. Bhd.'. We received 2 '100 plus' as a reward. After that, we went to 'Proton Centre of Excellence' and then to 'SK Seri Selangor', which is our final destination. At night, we had a minigame, which is to find the place around the school from the mysterious picture. After the fun game, we went to sleep. Day 3 We took off to 'Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya', then 'Sekolah Wawasan'. On the way to 'USJ Car Express', we start to talk about some interesting event that happen in our life. We then went to 'SJK(C) Chee Wen', 'SMK Seafield', 'SK Seri Selangor', 'Universiti Monash', 'Sunway Pyramid', 'SJMC', 'Subang Parade' dan akhirnya 'Sri KL'. It is a very tough day as all of us are very tired after 2 days of heavy work. Day 4 It is the last day for our expedition and we took off at 0720 to 'Masjid Darul Ehsan Subang Jaya' and 'Taman Tasik Subang Ria' for community service by cleaning the area. We brought along 2 big plastic bags to keep all the rubbish we collected. 'Taman Tasik Subang Ria' is a lot dirty than we have expected. We did our best to clean up the place. After we cleaned the place, Sir Ekbert took a 'wefie' with us as a memory of this journey. My journey of this expedition officially ended when we reached 'Sri KL' again. In this expedition, I have learned to make sure our aim and goal is clear before we start to work for it. Then, I need to think in many aspects to solve a problem. Besides that, I need to be more responsible towards my role in my patrol. Lastly, I need to obey the scout law at all times to keep a good image of scouts to everyone. Next, my patrol members and I have contributed a lot in keeping the area clean. We always pick up rubbish along our journey and do our best to clean up some area as ordered. In results, it can give other people a better feeling when they see a clean area. As a messenger of peace, I need to give out the message of keeping a clean area so that everyone around the area can have a healthy lifestye.
