On 12th December, 2016 we the staff of Sengdhyen LSS went to Lotukuchu Tarayana Center went for the a small Award Ceremony and Farewell program for the little ECCD children of three different ECCD centers under Sengdhyen LSS (viz. Jigme ECCD Center, Singye ECCD Center and Wangchuk ECCD Center). The parents of the children were also invited for the program. This program was organized in order to motivate the parents to enroll their children to the ECCDs and to encourage the parents to take proper care of their child while bring to ECCD center. The little children showcased their learning of nursery rhymes. They also exhibited the discipline they have learnt. The children were awarded in fields such as, Cleanest child, Punctual, Good Manner, Active Child. Even a prize was awarded to the Best Parents who always came to the centers in proper dress and exhibit good example for others. There was also a farewell lunch for the children who will be admitted in the Pre-Primary class in Sengdhyen LSS for their formal education. The children had come in their traditional Lhop dress as a significance of preservation of their culture. (***Lhops or also called as Doyas are the small tribal group inhabited in the southwest region of Bhutan)
