As being a scout, volunteering in one of the biggest and participating in one of the grand religious ceremony and dromchoe of the east especially being presided by his holiness the 70th J Khenpo is a true privilege, so I volunteered and provided my service and devotion
As a scout, alongside Dessups and fellow volunteers, I had the privilege to support the 13-day dromchoen & ritual, followed by two days of sacred mask dances and blessings from his holiness the Chabje.Our service included: • Providing three daily meals, tea, and refreshments to the public • Ensuring cleanliness, waste management, and sanitation throughout the dromchoe • Assisting with crowd control to maintain order and safety • Preparing meals and helping with kitchen work for the community
First of all it wasn't just a service but privilege with full devotion to be able to serve under his holiness the J Khenpo With the service and volunteering,I learned : • Service before self • Teamwork and coordination • Leadership through action • Respect for culture and spirituality
