On 14th June 2018, five leadership scouts and two scout leaders from Bhutan Scouts Association, along with 100 other blood donors participated in the World Blood Donor Day with the Theme, "Be there for someone else, give blood, share life". The event was organised by the Ministery of health and Bank of Bhutan at Chubachu, Thimphu. The blood donors taking part ranged from Youths toold vetenarians, and from all walks of life. I also participated in the day long programme as one of the youngest blood donors and served as an inspiration to many others. This was my first time doing so and I aspire to continue to do so and set myself as an examplary model. The collected blood throughout the day will be transported to the National hospital and will be used to save innumerous lives.
