The target group is children of rural Early Childhood Care & Development centers around the country the drive helped manage waste as rovers collected used toys and reuse them after repair. used social media to invite public in general for donation of toys. We were able to collect 70 sacks of used toys.
After successfully collecting good sums of toys, we headed to distribute it to children residing near camp site, road camps and construction site. Almost 80 children came for the toys. It could have given immense joy if we had more but we felt even better when witnessing these giant smiles on them. What could be better sight than this?!
These project made us feel more connected and comfortable with people around us. It made us realize the importance of giving and the beauty of acceptance. We were pushed working together with dedication. The three month duration made us even closer and wiser together.
