DONATE BLOOD - SAVE LIFE
Since International peace day just moving, for this occasion also through culture of peace and for the celebrations, a Blood Donation Camp was Organised. Blood Donation is a very important service that can be rendered in our society for a noble cause as there are many people in the world who face the crisis of Blood. Hence, this way our motivation to undertake the project in order to serve our community in a better way.
Member of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Howrah District Association, Howrah Vivekananda Institution Scout Group organised the Blood Donation Camp on 29 September 2019 in which around 85 Cubs, Scouts, Rovers, Rangers and Unit Leaders participated actively. 51 members donated Blood voluntarily in this event. Also participated were educated about importance of saving life through Blood Donation.
Through this Blood Donation Camp, local people of central Howrah area joined hands with us and we imparted knowledge to them on Blood Donation. Also, through poster making, local awareness was created in which the people of the area got benefitted.
Through this projects, we have learned that Blood Donation is very important as savings lives is very important "ONE DROP OF BLOOD CAN SAVES ANYONE LIFE", We would definitely try to involved more Blood donors next time.
