Back here at PAWS Animal Welfare Society a non-profit shelter and is in need of food, dog cages, cat litter, medical treatment, etc. Do make a donation to them anytime because it will definitely make a big and impactful difference to the shelter as well as the pets living there. There were not much volunteers today as it was a weekday, however I was joined up with a family of 5 during my time there. My volunteering activity today are a little bit different from my usual routine because this time round, I gave all my time, love,attention and affection only to the new Alsatian with the dogtag code 253 that have just came into the shelter recently. She was in the quarantine zone when I first saw her came into the shelter few weeks back and now shes finally in her own kennel and away from the quarantine zone. She is a very thin dog but in a better condition compared to when I first saw her. However she is still very timid towards the environment and the other dogs but shes well with humans , very active and playful. I brought her out for jogs and walks, and also bathe her but most of the time I spent most of the time there bonding with her in the shelter while giving her treats so that she would get use to the new environment and the people as well as the dogs around her. From the time I have spent with her, I would say shes a very lovely and friendly dog with a kind heart and I really hope that she could gain some weight and get along with the environment. Ill be back to check up on her during my next visit and really hope that her life gets better than what she had in the past.
