Shri L.B. Shastri Open Rover Scout Group,Sirsa, Haryana, INDIA is celebrating the major Indian festival Diwali in Shri Kasturba Gandhi Old Age Home, Sirsa, Haryana since 2008. Every year Rovers & Scouts goes in Old Age Home & celebrate their Diwali with old persons. All the members of the group does cleanliness of the old age home & the rooms of the old persons. They celebrate this festival with them as at home including Laxmi Poojan, Sweets distribution & with small crackers & fireworks to make feel them happy. In at last they prepare the dinner for all & have it together with old age persons. I feel so proud on me & on my scouts & so thankful to Scouting to give us chance to serve humanity.
