" District MoP Coordinators for Bhutan"
48 Adult Leaders and Young Volunteers were invited for an interview to select 28 Messenger of Peace Coordinators for 24 Districts in Bhutan. The Interview was organized and conducted by the Messenger of Peace Coordinator for Bhutan. 5 BSA Staff were engaged for three days selecting the most apt and eligible candidates for the MoP Initiative.
The aspiring and enthusiastic candidates were evaluated on the following:
1. Manner and disposition.
2. Language proficiency.
3. Intelligence, ability & competence.
5. Attitude, commitment and aptitude to volunteer.
The most appropriate candidate with the will to spread the message of peace in Bhutan was selected for the post of coordinators. We spent about 8 hours in a day interviewing the candidates. We could interview only 16 candidates in a day and it took us three days to select the candidates and releasing the results of the interview. The number of participants were 53 ( 48 candidates + 5 Officials).
Before, we finally conduct the National Workshop on MoP, we have the selected candidates ready for the Meet. We are all set to now take the MoP initiative to the next level.
