This project is about advocating , empowering and supporting the "District Scout Committee" for the contribution in the field of Disaster Rescue as Messenger of Peace Initiative. As a Pilot Project for this initiative,  One Day Workshop on "Messenger Of Peace Training  and Roles of Scouts in Disaster Rescue" was organised on 21st july 2012. In this Program, " District Disaster Rescue Committee of Scouts" was also formed as one of the MOP initiative. The first  "District Disaster Rescue Committee of Scouts of Kaski District " was formed.As a follow up of this initiative the 2 days Training on Disaster Rescue for the Rovers and Rangers was conducted on 16th and 17th November  in partnership with Nepal Army and Nepal Armed Police Force.This Training is first of its kind.More than 40 Rovers and Rangers are successfully participated in the training. Trained participants are  capable of assisting the front line(Army and Police) rescuers in case of disasters. The objective of this project is to implement this model in all the District Scout Committees spread across Nepal
