To promote disaster preparedness and build capacity among citizens in any eventualities of disasters and other natural calamities, the BSP-Batangas City Council, in coordination with Batangas City Disaster Risk reduction management Office joined in the motorcade on July 1, 2016. A meaningful short program followed immediately. This was held at Batangas City Sports Coliseum. Prior to this, Council Office Staff joined the Nationwide simultaneous earthquake Drill held at 2nd floor of Teacher’s Conference Center on June 22, 2016. Practical training skill on fire fighting was provided for the participants. A review on First Aid and CPR were held to strengthen the readiness of all.
