Gesarling Central School under Dagana Dzongkhag, Bhutan is recognized a sole SEN school under Dagana. Students with special need are more vulnerable in our school. of total 739 students our school have 12 Special need students. Our aim is not just to provide wholesome education but to create disaster free environment for the continuity of education. Therefore creating awareness and safety measures are very important as few SEN students are there, with low vision and  palsy.  The combined teams of School Disaster Management Committee and SEN teams presented how to stay away from such harms, moreover we also focused on psychological, emotional and social distruption during disaster. Buddy pairing was done as the buddies where with the SEN students at all time. We have not left rocks unturned in regard of safety measures. we, believe that such initiative from the adults, though it may not be a total cure but it could prove as a remedy.
