Dialogue for Peace Training at Interreligious Symposium

Participants from Asia, Africa, Arab, Europe and Interamerica region are gathering at the Seminary of the Immaculate conception for two days to participate at the Dialogue for Peace Training. This new learning experience aims to further promote the Dialogue for Peace Programme. In the context of interreliguous education, this Dialogue training will also explore the interreligous perspective of Dialogue and Peacebuilding. Among the obejctives of the training is also to introduce the Dialogue and Interreligious Dialgoue Badge criteria. The agenda of the training includes:
  • Role of religion in Peace building and Conflict Resolution
  • Identity, Perceptions and Misperceptions
  • Dialogue Principles
  • Dialogue in Practice
  • Dialogue Design and Facilitation
  • The Dialogical Scout
  • Dialogue in the Scout Movement.
Participants will also have the opportunity to practice how to Dialogue and to facilitate Dialogue in different formats, including the Inter religious Dialogue Game developed by KAICIID.
