Dengue Prevention Week'23

Dengue is one of the examples of how dangerous people's unconsciousness can be. In 2022, a total of 62,098 people were infected with dengue in the country, 281 people died. But in 2023, the number of infected has increased to more than one and a half lakh and the number of dead has also increased. In such a situation, apart from being self-aware, it is necessary to make the public aware as well.
UNICEF organizes Dengue Prevention Week'23 across the country. Under this project, we create awareness among the people based on the ward of Rajshahi district and destroy the places where Aides mosquitoes can breed.
Under this project, 10 rover services were provided daily. That is, about 70 rovers were associated with it in 7 days. I am proud to be one of them. And our target was to sensitize the maximum number of people and make the area free of Aides mosquitoes.
Our awareness can keep us healthy. From this project I have learned various unknown facts about Dengue. I was able to tell others. And I believe they will also be aware and alert each other. And we will succeed in making dengue free Bangladesh.
