Dengue Prevention of Special Schools

Many individuals feel a strong connection to their community and have a desire to give back and make a positive impact. Projects like cleaning up and improving the environment of a special school and home can provide a sense of fulfillment and contribute to the betterment of the community.
Project at the Madiwela Special School and Home for Boys, participants carried out tasks such as clearing the jungle area and cleaning the well. The project aimed to improve the environment, create a safer space and prevent the spreading of dengue mosquitoes. Breaks were provided to ensure participants' well-being, and a thoughtful donation was made to support the evening tea needs of the inmates. The project concluded with a final evaluation.
The project had a significant impact on the Madiwela Special School and Home for boys. By clearing the jungle area and cleaning the well, the environment became safer, cleaner, and more conducive to learning and living. The removal of unnecessary plants not only improved accessibility but also helped prevent the breeding of mosquitoes, thus reducing the risk of dengue fever.
