Dengue prevention and awareness campaign

In my home country, Bangladesh the dengue fever is very common. Which doesn't make it any less dangerous. In fact many people lose their lives for this terrible disease. Keeping this in mind, me and my whole scout group decided to serve the people of our locality through controlling mosquito reproduction and spreading awareness among the public.
On the selected day me and 33 other scouts of my group arrived on the designated area. We at first organised all of the materials we were gonna need for that day. Then, we all spilt up in 5 petrols and began heading towards different places of that area. We used kerosene and bleach to destroy the larvas and eggs of mosquitoes, especially aedes mosquitoes. We also distributed leaflets and flip charts to make the people aware of this dangerous fever.
Through our campaign, I believe a lot of people regained their awareness about the threatening and deadly fever called dengue fever and how to prevent it.
Through this campaign I learned that to maintain a healthy lifestyle we should focus on the small deeds as well.
