Dengue Awareness Program
Dengue fever is a significant public health concern in Bangladesh. The country has experienced several outbreaks of the disease in recent years, with the most severe outbreak occurring in 2020.
The scouts of our group made people aware by distributing leaflets about dengue in sector-6 in Uttara, Dhaka.
About 85 people benefited from this project. This project made the community to take measures for preventing dengue and also made people conscious about it.
The dengue situation in Bangladesh remains a significant public health concern. The country faces recurrent outbreaks of dengue fever, with a high burden of cases and associated mortality. While efforts have been made to combat the disease, further action is required to address the underlying factors contributing to dengue transmission. With sustained commitment and collaboration, it is possible to reduce the impact of dengue and protect the health of the population in Bangladesh.
