Dengue Awareness
For many decades dengue has caused many deaths . As our country still has many unclean and unsanitary practices , there are many locations where mosquitos are born. Due to this dengue is pretty common still now. Even last year one of my teachers young son got dengue and sorrowfully met an untimely death. Through this I came to realize how deadly the dengue is. So, when I got a chance to take part in a awareness creating pregame, I didn't waste a second and immediately joined them.
As dengue cases surged in our country, our community sprang into action. We organized an awareness and eradication program, focusing on cleaning breeding sites and spraying medicine. On October 1st, I joined with local community and scout members. After learning about dengue from a hospital representative, we distributed educational leaflets and sprayed mosquito-killing medicine in key areas, making a significant impact on awareness and prevention.
This project taught me the importance of community engagement and public health awareness. I underscored the impact of environmental hygiene in preventing diseases like dengue. Overall, through the project I got valuable lessons about dengue and proactive community action.
