Cycling for a Better World

On December 22nd, I joined my scout friends for “Cycling for a Better World,” a 20 km ride to promote eco-friendly transport. It was more than a ride—it was about friendship, fun, and inspiring change. We felt proud to support a cleaner planet through this simple but meaningful effort. It was also a chance for us to have a good time together. We all felt proud knowing our ride could inspire others to make small changes for a cleaner world.
Preparing for the event took teamwork and dedication. We spent weeks planning a safe route, checking our bikes, and getting ready for the long ride. On the day, we brought water, snacks, and a first aid kit. The ride was challenging, especially near the end, but we kept each other motivated. Reaching Teromukh Bridge, we were tired but overjoyed. Everyone’s effort mattered, and it felt amazing to achieve something meaningful together.we were exhausted but bursting with joy and high-fives.
That cycling day taught me some big lessons I’ll never forget. I found out I could push myself harder than I thought, especially with friends by my side lifting my spirits. It made me feel stronger, more confident, and ready to take on new challenges. I also learned how much teamwork matters and why we need to look after our planet. Now, I’m excited for more scout adventures where we can keep making a difference together!
