Cure the Thirst.

Sri Lanka is facing a economic crisis in present and as a result their are many shortages in necessary needs like fuel. And few days ago people had to stay in ques for days and weeks in order to get some fuel, facing all the hardships like sun, rain, hunger and etc. Therefore as the youth we initiated this project in order to show our love and care to our own people by treating the people at a fuel station in our city by providing them a cool drink.
This project was initiated at the Wahara Petroleum on 29th June. We prepared cool drinks for the people who waited at the que for days and weeks. The project was started at about 12.30 pm and was continued until 5.30pm afternoon. This was done with help of several other school in our city.
This project succeeded to cure the thirst and tiredness of our own Sri Lankans who stayed in long ques. Through this project we were able to bring smiles to the faces of our fellows. And through this we were able to build friendships in-between different schools who took part in this project.
Through this project we learnt about the hardships experienced by the people and also that small things can bring happiness. this also helped us to develope our friendships and bonds.
