CULTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL HERITAGE
The Group Leader is our motivation as she inspired us to organise the plantation drive and HAR GHAR TIRANGA Campaign she along with all the faculty participated in the different awareness campaigns. The students as well as faculty took Part in both these activities. hence not only the students but the teachers were also benefited. More over the people from nereby locality also participated in these events.
both the projects were executed simultaneously by starting with 4 groups of 10 students each on 1st day. The groups were assigned specified areas for 1 to 2 feet deep pits for planting saplings. they dug 20 pits along the green area in the campus. Then on 3rd day group Leader along with students and faculty planted 20 saplings. which was safe guarded by putting Guards around them. On 4-5-6th day the 40 TIRANGA were distributed to the students with necessary inputs regarding hosting of the flag.
Both the students and the teachers were sensitised about the impact of Plantation on their surrounding environment and health in general.
