Creating a Pleasant and Beautiful Environment
Today,me and my friend started a 5 hours service project in Vihara Maha Devi park.We came to victoria park and took permission from the initial authorities which was a army soldier helped us in granting permission.Then me and my friend selected a place to start cleaning.As it was all dirty,and still not cleaned.We cleaned the flower beds which were covered with weeds,by removing the grass and collecting them seperately in garbage bags.Then we went to another side which was very big.Me and my friend divided to two sides and promised to clean that place perfectly.We both took two ekel brooms and started to clean from two corners.After all were done we started to collect the garbages we cleaned into different garbage bags as polythene,leftovers,leaves and papers.and after all were done we threw all the garbage materials in relavent place.Without knowing we had come to the end when it was sun setting.Finally,we have completed our work and the park was looking so clean and tidy,we was so satisfied and felt extremely glad about what we did.And it was really proud to clean the vihara maha devi park which is mostly visited by many people.This was an amazing experience for us as a scout.

- 12.15 PM -Finished collecting the garbages dumped in the park
- 12.20 PM - Having the lunch as per the request of the supervisor
- 12.45 PM - Putting the garbages in the bags
- 01.00 PM - Dumping the garbages in the relevant bins as follows: PLASTIC,POLYTHENE,GLASS,WASTE MATERIALS AND IN GARBAGE PITS
- 01.15 PM - Granting the letter given by the authority
- 01.30 PM - Conclusion of the project
WE SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED OUR PROJECT AT VIHARAMAHADEVI PARK COLOMBO ........
