COVID-19 Vaccination in My Community

The COVID-19 comes into the world and it has adversely affected the lives of people in different corners of the world. Nevertheless, to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and to prevent mortality rate, the WHO has come up with a world wide vaccination initiative. Similarly, the vaccination was started in Bhutan and human resource was needed to successfully accomplish the initiative. Hence, i decided to volunteer.
The project of vaccinating the whole community was implemented in one of the schools of the community. I as a volunteer, my duties was to monitor the villagers who came for vaccination. I make sure that they follow the COVID-19 protocols such as but not limited to suing facemask, washing/sanitizing hands, and keep safe distance. Further, i assisted the health officials in keeping records of the villagers by getting them registered.
The initiative was indeed a beneficial one and i am confident that around 500 of them who turn up for the vaccination would be benefited from the project. As the one ones who are vaccinated are one step ahead form the risk of getting infected by the virus and additionally, it also mitigates the outspread of COVDI-19.
Every time i participates in a volunteer work, i get some take away in the end. Likewise, i gained many new knowledge from this project as to how we communicate and deal with people. Further, i also get to learn about some medical kits, as they health officials operates their work.
