Concientización sobre el autismo
A scout in our community has autism, during a camp in November we lived full time with him. There arose the need to know about the subject.
With the Libemor Psychological Center and in coordination with the Nuevo León Autism Association we initiated a project to participate in awareness activities on the inclusion of autism and culminating with an event on April 2 where the general population was invited to participate with different activities to raise awareness about the alterations presented by children with autism, as well as fun and recreational activities for children with autism
The event with which we closed the project was invited to the general population of the metropolitan area of Monterrey and to different therapeutic centers. This event was attended by more than 1000 people figure granted by the Autism Association Nuevo Leon
With this project we learned that people with autism should be respected and treated equally, we must enter their world and support them for a better quality of life.
