All Cubs met at a local garden being built to the side of a green area in the Renmore area, where the resident gardener talked them through the different plants and how to go about planting. The Cubs spent an hour and a half planting seeds and plants, and putting up a plant box to contribute to the great natural beauty of the area. Then we all walked to the beach where we picked up 22 bags of rubbish that the municipal authority picked up. Although it was a cold day, the Cubs hardy noticed, insisting on cleaning as much of the path to the beach as possible before they had to head home and recover!!
