Community-Based Development Campaign

According to our rover program, working with Sustainable Development Goals is mandatory. The stories of my fellows who are working on these goals to complete the rover program inspired me to take action on this project.
Our unit Amra Scout Group. Dhaka conducted its annual group camp and investiture program, 3rd skill & community-based camp-2022 at Panchkhola, Madaripur from 06 to 08 October 2022. In that camp, we ran a campaign with a view to creating a better world by developing awareness among general people. We made a water filter and exhibited it. We engaged them with the social movement that is going on throughout the world to ensure a healthy lifestyle and a healthy ecosystem.
There live approximately more than 40 families in the area we ran our campaign, so if we think from an average view we can claim that more than 200 hundred people got benefited from this project. We ran from door to door and home to home, sharing our information about the goals of SDG, we collected their opinions and noted the problems they face, and tried to provide them with a better solution for developing their healthy lifestyle.
I could realize by implementing the project that everyone is not always provided with all pieces of information. So, a tendency of sharing knowledge got enriched inner me without feeling hesitation. From the beginning, we tried to cover a large number of villagers which can not ensure the proper deliverability of information equally to all. Next time we can develop our activity in this turn.
