Coffee sends kids to summercamp

The church was not able to use its room for youth and womens groups because the kitchen was completely unusable and not functioning in any way. Completely remodeled an abandoned kitchen for Grace Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California.  It was the desire of the church to have the kitchen brought back to a functional state so they could turn it into a coffee house and meeting location for youth and women’s groups.  Led a group of youth and adults to refinish all the old cupboards, installed a new serving counter, put new tile on the counter tops, painted the room, installed hardware on the cabinet doors, and removed the old sink and garbage disposal and installed new ones. With additional funds raised he was able to purchase the church all new kitchen appliances, including: dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator, and microwave.  In addition to the youth and women’s groups now using the kitchen and meeting room the church has committed to using the funds generated from coffee and food sales to send underprivileged/financially deserving youth to summer camp.
