Pack 257 in conjunction with Troop 257 with California Inland Empire Council ,did a community Coat and Blanket Drive. We handed out the items to local homeless residents, shelters and civic organizations . We also did a Pack Blessing Bag organization. A local store donated goods for the pack to buy and arrange Blessing Bags for the less fortunate.We assembled 45 Bags that included food, water, hygiene products, and other various necessities and a note from the scout for good cheer. The scouts were able to learn what service is really all about. The projects not only started conversations about the good of humankind , but got the scouts thinking globally. Pack 257 are true Messengers of Peace.
