Cloth distribution to the needy people
The Bharat Scouts and Guides, N.F Railway, Badarpur District Association had arranged a cloth distribution program on 30th September 11:00am to 2:00pm (4 hours) and 2nd October 10:00am to 1:00pm (4 hours). Total we served 8 hours.
This program was run by 35 Rovers 36 Rangers 12 Unit Leaders (Scout Wings) and 7 Unit Leaders (Guide Wings) Total number of participants was 90.
We distributed clothes to the needy people who can not even afford a single thread. 1st day on 30th September we distributed clothes to 340 poor people in our District Scout Hut, Badarpur. And on the 2nd day 2nd October we went to a Village named Borgul near our town and distributed cloths to 238 people.
As we all are still students we can't buy this much new clothes for all the needy people, so we collected all the used but well considered clothes from wherever we can. Other peoples were also interested in donating their old cloths to the needy people so we collected all those cloths from them and distributed among the needy one. We also included our old, oversized, outsized cloths.
They were very happy after getting the clothes from us. We just wanted everyone be happy and we worked very hard just to put a smile on their face.
