Climate Hero 'Pekalongan Session'
Our inspiration comes from the spirit of the Scouts, who are always ready to serve and care for the environment. Seeing the increasingly visible impacts of climate change, we felt the need to work with the younger generation to become "climate heroes." The strong sense of togetherness within the Scouts and the desire to protect the earth for future generations were our primary motivations for starting this project.
This project involves Scouts from various bases gathering, discussing, and taking action together. We organize our activities through large, interactive gatherings, ranging from climate awareness campaigns and workshops to concrete actions that teach how Scouts can be agents of change.
From these activities, we learned that the greatest strength lies in togetherness. When many young people and Scouts unite, creative ideas for protecting the environment can be born and realized. We also learned that climate change is not just a global issue, but a real problem that we can address through small, consistent, collaborative actions. Furthermore, the Scouts' spirit of discipline, responsibility, and mutual cooperation are crucial for mobilizing climate action within the community.
