Climate action

I'm passionate about climate action because our planet's future is at stake. Growing up in Malawi, I've seen the devastating impact of climate change on our communities and agriculture. I want to be part of the solution, empowering locals with sustainable practices and tech to combat environmental challenges
1. Identify areas for planting: Pick spots in Malawi needing reforestation (e.g., degraded lands, riverbanks). 2. Get seedlings: Source native tree species from local nurseries. 3. Engage volunteers & schools: Organize planting days + awareness talks on climate benefits. 4. Run workshops: Teach sustainable practices, tree care, and climate impact. 5. Monitor & celebrate: Track growth, involve community in care, and have a "green fest" to celebrate
Flexibility is everything When some seedlings didn't make it due to unexpected dry spells, we pivoted to replant and focused on teaching drought-resistant techniques. The community's adaptability made the project resilient.
