CLEANLINESS DRIVE AT BANK OF RIVER GANGES .
In order to commemorate the birthday of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, I along with Pushkar Lal Kedia Scout Group conducted a cleanliness drive at the river bank on the theme of namami gange at Jaganatn Ghat so that I can bring about a clean environment around the rivers of our country.
We started the campaign with a a cycle rally. Soon after we reached the ghats of Ganga and began our campaign. Simultaneously we created awareness among the people about how important water bodies are for our living and its high time that it needs to be cleaned and conserved.
We were able to create awareness among atleast 100 people living near the ghat. Also we were able to thoroughly clean the Ganga river and its premises.
I learnt that when you do something for the mother earth, you actually do your part as a service of the land that we live in. From my campaign I was also able to inspire young scouts so that they can engage themselves in such projects in the near future.
