Cleaning of Rinpochhoe’s Palace

Objectives:

  1. To provide a comfortable, fun and supportive environment for the people living in that area.
  2. To help children appreciate and care for each other and the surroundings.
  3. To encourage the children to participate in social services.

The objective of cleaning is not just to clean, but to feel happiness living within that environment. On 30th August 2018, we the scout members of Bartsham Central School Organized a cleaning campaign around the Rinpochoe’s Palace adopted by the Scouts.

At 4:00 PM, we reached at palace and we lined up the students in patrol wise. We allocated each patrol an area. Some cut the grasses and some dug the gardens and weeded around and below the Palace. There were 134 Nazhoen scouts members along with 12 scout leaders. At around 6:20PM the students went inside the Palace. We were served with the refreshment by the Dorji Lopen of Chador Lhakhang. We completed our work by 6:30PM and headed back to the School.
