Cleaning of Park and Historical site

Cleaning of Park and Historical site

A historical site (a Tank used during the battle of World War II ) in the city of Kohima the state capital of Nagaland, India has been left unattended due to which the passerby throw plastic waste and has been littering the area, so with some of the Senior Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Rangers we decided to voluntarily clean up the area every weekend for a month. Though at first it was not an easy task because the next weekend that we went there for clean up the same amount of litters used to be there. But as we continued to do the clean up people have reduced littering the area. This project is on hold because of the continuous rainfall yet, more young people are inspired to join us in the cleaning up of the area.
