Cleaning of Doktang Nye
One of the sacred sites in the community is Doktang Nye. As a part of IDP and cleaning campaign we scouts have decided to go and clear the bushed around the nye.
We volunteered to clear and clean the nye. As part of cleaning camp, we were able to successfully clear the bushes around the Nye
Since it was a sacred site, many visit this place. This place was one of the sites a great saint meditated and got enlightened. So people have so much faith on this place and cleaning the Nye has help everyone visiting it.
We learned of community engagement and love for nature. We also knew the importance of preserving sacred sites.
