Cleaning campaign (Community Service)
The inspiration to start the community cleaning campaign came from the scouts’ strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community service. Observing littered streets and public spaces in the neighborhood motivated the scouts to take action and make a positive difference. They were driven by the belief that a clean environment promotes better health, safety, and pride among residents.
On 21st ,September coinciding with International Day of Peace, scout members organized and executed a community cleaning campaign aimed at improving the cleanliness and hygiene of our neighborhood. The campaign began with a planning meeting where scouts, led by their leaders, identified key areas such as streets, playgrounds, and public parks that required attention.
From the cleaning campaign, we learned the importance of teamwork and community cooperation in achieving common goals. The campaign showed that when people come together with a shared purpose, even big tasks become manageable. We also realized that maintaining a clean environment requires continuous effort and responsibility from everyone, not just during special events.
