Cleaning Campaign at bajo town and punakha

Seeing how other scouts are doing their duty to serve our nation it convinced me to also do my part as a scouts to perform such actions. Since it was the birth anniversary of our beloved gyalsey(prince) it was right timing to perform such duties and it motivated me. Our goal was clean the whole town of bajo and it's surrounding as a tribute to our gyalsey (prince)
The project took place at Bajo, Wangdue Phodrang, Bhutan. First due to the shortage of scouts in the area we convinced the de suup organization to give some volunteers for the project which they accepted. After that 26 scouts and 50 de suups gathered at the de suup office in Bajo town on the 5th of February 8am. Later we divided groups to clean areas and begin the project. We cleaned the bajo town are till 12 pm and the scout leaders moved to punakha and cleaned the area of punakha till 5pm
After the cleaning of the town of bajo and punakha about 300 people living in the town would be benefited as it would be a cleaner environment to live in after the project. Also the people managing the waste in the area would have a easier time managing the waste
I learned that people are not conscious about their waste and it needs to be managed carefully by the people and more public awareness should be given
