On 21st August, Getana School and the Gewog joined together for community mass cleaning campaign in nearby two chiwogs along with 35 Nachung Scouts and 14 both teaching and supporting staffs from the school with a theme “let’s keep Community Green”.

We have collected both degradable and non degradable waste and disposed to the Chiwogs proper pit and burnt thoroughly. We took almost 5 hours to cover up two areas, indeed itwas very challenges.

Advantages:

1. It looks community clean and elegant.
2. It stimulate villagers to participate in such activities
3. Achieving  the pillar of G.N.H
4. More chances of Nachung sctouts to accumulate noble deeds.
