Cleaning for a Better World.
People from the Municipal have frequently been cleaning the river and drains around the city. Their hard work motivated me to take my initiative to help them by cleaning a river bank.
I executed my project around the river bank near Jangwa Ney(Monastery). There were a total of 45 of us. We divided ourselves into three groups, the first group cleaned areas around the river banks on the left side. The second group cleaned the right side of the river and the third group helped deliver the sacks required for cleaning.
At the end of the day, we collected more than 20 sacks of waste from the river bank. The clean river bank will give a more pleasant view for both the the tourists as well the citizens who visit it. Both marine life as well as life on land will also be benefitted through the cleaned river.
From this project, I have leaned to appreciate the nature and the workers who do their best to protect it. I have learned to work with others to create a better result and because of the cooperation and team spirit, this project became a great success.
