Clean water and clean life
The monsoon rain has disturbed the water sources such that it bring debris with it and make it unsafe for drinking. And also muddy water from tape is not even useable for washing purpose which struggles people daily use.
I organized water tank cleaning. There are three bigger tanks and 8 eight small tanks. The mud was taken out from the tank and cleaned. Then washed inside the tank and cut the grass outside the tanks.
After water tank cleaning, continuous and clean and safe drinking water was ensured to the community.
My participants experienced the importance of keeping water source clean and safe. Moreover, cleaning water tank is giving healthy life.
