Clean and Green Neighborhood Campaign
I was inspired to start the Clean and Green Neighborhood project after noticing how much litter had built up in our park and streets. Many children used to play there, but the area was becoming dirty and unsafe. I wanted to make a positive change and show that young people can take responsibility for their community.
As a Scout, I’ve learned that helping others and caring for the environment are important parts of our duty.
To carry out the Clean and Green Neighborhood project, I first planned the activities with my Scout team. We divided the work into groups — some collected litter, some planted trees, and others made awareness posters.
We gathered cleaning tools, gloves, garbage bags, and tree saplings with help from local authorities and shop owners.
After finishing, we made sure to dispose of all waste properly and watered the new plants.
Through the Clean and Green Neighborhood project, I learned many valuable lessons. First, I realized the power of teamwork — when everyone works together, even a big task becomes easier. I also learned the importance of leadership, planning, and time management while organizing the activities.
Most importantly, I understood that small actions can create big changes in the community. This project taught me to care more about my surroundings and to continue helping others as a true Scout.
