Chhat ghat cleanliness Drive.
After the festival of chhat puja, I observed people left their puja items and lots of plastic near water bank
By seeing this behavior of people leaving their waste behind inspired me to take up this project
The project took place near river Bank because after the festival of chhat we observed waste and dirt around and in the ruver water. The project was implemented in our district .
To execute the project first we made sure to wear hand gloves for the safety purpose of rangers. They we divide into to group of 4 each group had two sack to fill with garbage. After that we got distributed among the river Bank to start collecting waste.
Alot of people got benefitted from this project people saw us cleaning and collecting the waste. They got the sense of responsibility to not throw the garbage or puja materials in bank which will directly or indirectly affect their health and environment.
We learned very valuable lesson from this project. Enjoyments and festive vibe is important but also what is important that we shouldn't forget to take care of the environment or to destroy or harming the natural beauty just for 2 days of fun. Our devotion should also be with mother earth.
