Champions For Nature

Champions For Nature

On the 6 October 2020, I initiated a project (planting plants through hydroponic method) to tackle global warming and also completing the Champions for Nature requirement.

However, things started to change when Cikgu Low (my Science teacher) invited me to participate in the Insan Junior Researcher International Conference(iJURECON) 2020. I revamped the project strategy to include two pillars which are the community involvement and also fulfiling the iJURECON requirements.

As COVID-19 spikes in Malaysia, Cikgu Low and I collaborated to create a questionnaire to involve the community (school students) without causing physical contact, and I worked hard to implement the project in the iJURECON abstract before 30th October 2020.

I presented my research in the iJURECON event, and I won the "Best Presenter" award for my outstanding performance.

This project is a combination of scouting and science skills, and my efforts were well paid off.
